Author, Entrepreneur & Motivational Speaker Cassandra Walker-Phillips

Meet Southeast Queens Native, Cassandra Walker-Phillips: Book Author, Entrepreneur and Minister. I had the pleasure of interveiwing her in our studio several years ago.

What I love most about Cassandra is her openness and sharing of personal challenges and the journey to healing. We don't often think that parental divorce may still affect us into adulthood, but often it does. We may not acknowledge the connection between childhood experiences tranlating into adult emotions, habits or struggles.

On the lighter side, Cassandra is a former truck driver and has been married to the same man for years. While working, she began her business as a Paparazzi Consultant and Contributing Writer for other Authors. Within adulthood, she was called to the Ministry and answered dutifully.

 We then moved into an unplanned conversation on Human Trafficking which occurs in more places than we think - including in Queens, NY.
