When Keith Murray Performed

The “Most Beautifulist Thing In The World” is Poetry. Here’s a clip of Keith Murray who was frequently a guest judge for our Poetry Slams. What a blast from the past with profound memories of incredible Poetry Nights.

Keith hails from Queens, NY and became a famous rapper with quite the reputation.  With many hits and performances to be proud of, Keith is an excellent and deep entertainer.  Sure, he has his quirky side, but who doesn't? Keith illustrates growth, survival, fatherhood and profoundly deep thinking.  Once again, Jamaica, Southeast Queens, NY breeds legends, mega stars from Entertainment to athletics, Authors to Clothing Designers, Chefs, Product Makers and Community Organizations. 

We Can’t wait for this Thursday at Space 224 who’s donating the Venue for our Free Community Event. While Keith won’t be at this one, we have a great line-up of Poets and we're planning more events and of course, Poetry Videos are always a feature in the Queens Underground International Black and Brown Film Festival with Submissions Open through August 15th for the October 23, 2021 Film Festival. 

If you've never attended a Poetry Event or watched Poetry Videos - we surely invite you to begin.  There's nothing more honest and vulnerable, eye opening and giving pause for deep thought than attending a Poetry Showcase, Slam or Open Mic.  Best of all, Poetry Events are where the Generations Converge beautifully. All of the blocks, hinderances, differences and challenges melt away once a Poet has the Mic. Poets are the Storytellers, the recorders of History, the state of the world, the complexities of the human condition and it's ability to lay bare, share, grow, heal and progress.
